The Runner hood ornament was one of four options offered for the new car. John Brockman of Yankton, SD brought his 1929 Buick Model 44 Roadster, aka Whiskey Six, to the car show in West Point, Nebraska. He purchased the car from a barn find in ND in 1999. After taking it apart for a body off restoration he built two other cars then decided he was running out of time so built this into a stunning car. There was too much distracting stuff to get a decent photo of the entire car.
