Beautiful overlook on I-70 east of Green River, Utah. Trails, roads and railroads detoured 20 miles east to avoid the narrow, rugged canyon. In 1957 I-70 was engineered to bisect San Rafael Swell of which Spotted Wolf Canyon is the narrowest part. Before construction began, workers could touch both walls of the canyon with arms outstretched.
