Kilauea Lighthouse Point Peninsula

Kilauea Lighthouse Point Peninsula

The Kīlauea Point National Wildlife Refuge is 200 feet above sea level and provides a sanctuary for seabirds. If you are a birder, I'm not, you may see great frigatebirds, wedge-tailed and Newell’s shearwaters, brown and red-footed boobies and Laysan albatross. From December through May, you are likely to catch a glimpse of humpback whales. iPhone
