A yellow flower peeks out of the Arches at Mission San Jose y San Miguel de Aguayo, in San Antonio, Texas.
Mission San José, also known as the "Queen of the Missions", was founded in 1720 by Father Antonio Margil de Jesús and was named for Saint Joseph. It is the largest of the Texas missions and was nearly restored to its original design in the 1930's by the WPA (Works Projects Administration).
